A Christmas Story: Auditions

Saturday, October 16 • Old Union Hall - 68 Dennis Street (Side Door)

Come-and-go-format, no preparation required. You will be provided with a piece from the script to read.

 Youth (12-17) • 12-2pm​

  • Ralphie Parker: Ralph at 9 years old

  • Randy: Ralph's little brother

  • Flick: Ralph's friend and classmate

  • Schwartz: Ralph's friend and classmate

  • Esther Jane Alberry: Ralph's classmate

  • Helen Weathers: Ralph's classmate

  • Scut Farkas: School bully

  • ​

Adults (18+) • 2:30-4:30pm

  • Ralph:  Narrator

  • Mother: Ralph's mother

  • The Old Man: Ralph's Father

  • Miss Shields: Ralph's teacher

Requirements for all Actors​

All actors must be 12+ years old and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

All actors will be given until October 31st to provide documentation of vaccination. Actors will be in close proximity to one another without masks - this is for the safety of all involved.

Performance Dates: December 16-19, 2021

All actors must be willing to commit to 3 rehearsals per week starting in November, and be available for the full week of the show (December 12-19).
