“It’s a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play”is based on the classic holiday movie.
George Bailey is a generous and well-meaning man who has become too downcast and tired to continue to live. With the help of a loveable angel, George is shown what life would be like if he was never born. It captures the true heart and spirit of the holidays.
This version is staged as a live radio play, allowing actors to create the voices, personas, and characters of a multitude of Bedford Falls residents. We are also looking for some amazing sound effect technicians to help us take the audience on an auditory journey.

Characters
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a powerful drama set in a mental institution where the rebellious and charismatic Randle P. McMurphy challenges the strict authority of Nurse Ratched. Through humor, defiance, and friendship, McMurphy inspires the patients to regain their sense of individuality and self-worth. As the struggle between McMurphy and Nurse Ratched intensifies, the play explores themes of freedom, conformity, power, and the human spirit. The story builds to a tragic but moving conclusion that highlights the cost of resistance and the importance of personal dignity.

Principal Roles
Randle P. McMurphy - Male | Lead Charismatic, rebellious, funny, and physically confident. A gambler and convicted criminal transferred from a prison work farm. Natural leader who challenges authority and inspires the patients.
Nurse Ratched - Female | Lead Intelligent, composed, and highly controlling. Rules the ward through manipulation rather than overt anger. Must project authority, restraint, and psychological power.
Chief Bromden - Male | Featured Lead A towering Indigenous patient who pretends to be deaf and mute. Observant and deeply affected by the events around him. Carries much of the play's emotional and symbolic weight.
Major Supporting Roles
Billy Bibbit - Male Shy, vulnerable patient with a severe stutter Desperate for approval and acceptance. Requires strong emotional range and sensitivity.
Dale Harding - Male Intelligent, articulate, witty. Often serves as spokesman for the patients. Deeply insecure beneath a polished exterior
Charlie Cheswick - Male Emotional, energetic, impulsive. Quick to champion McMurphy's cause.
Martini - Male Imaginative and eccentric. Often provides comic relief.
Scanlon - Male Quiet, cynical, skeptical. Often an observer rather than an instigator.
Hospital Staff
Dr. Spivey - Male The ward physician. Well-meaning but lacks Nurse Ratched's authority.
Nurse Flinn - Female Junior nurse. Professional, nervous, and deferential to Ratched.
Aide Warren - Male One of the orderlies. Helps enforce Nurse Ratched's rules.
Additional
Aides - Male Ward attendants who maintain order and provide ensemble support.
Ruckly - Male Long-term patient damaged by repeated treatments.
